I started out in engineering and ended up building artificial voices for businesses that live on appointments: clinics, salon groups, showrooms, field services: places where the phone rings exactly when nobody can pick it up. My work looks more like a very good receptionist's job than classic programming: the system answers, understands what the caller wants and puts the booking in the calendar: without getting the time wrong, without leaving anyone waiting.
A missed call isn't a statistic: it's a client dialling the next name on their list. Between the hours you work and the hours clients look for you there's a gap, and that's where the revenue you never even see disappears. That gap is what I close: evenings, weekends, and the hours you're already with a client in front of you.
I don't ship pretty demos. I ship systems running in production with real clients on the line: every call listened to, every booking verified in the calendar before I call it done. Sofia, the voice agent built for Noir by Fadileh, was made exactly that way: she takes the salon's calls, books and confirms on her own.
